Be On Time
The fast pace of modern living demands a prompt action.
Now what is promptness? It’s been defined that is one of the character trait that you should seek to develop. It is readiness in acting as occasion demands; and it is ready response to summons also it is acting without delay or duly-delaying. Like, as a student, I’m already inside our classroom and well-prepared. I already submitted my school work at the time it is called for or when I am on time during practice singing. When talking to business, like, the manufacture of instant products facilities is prompt in their service and hastens the morning routine in order to keep pace with time.
Well, prompt response to duty could give you moments of pleasure. Putting off for tomorrow what can be done today is very common to both old and young. You will find yourself always behind time, if you have this habit of delay. Like, if you say’” This theme can wait. I’ll write it tomorrow during my study period.” We don’t know what we will face tomorrow, many things most often unpleasant could happen.
If I were you, eliminate “maniana habit”. Why should I wait for net time when I can very well do my task now? Am I right?! The habit of keeping correct time requires practice and it pays big dividends. Self-discipline plays a part in keeping appointments. To be able to keep appointments even if it means sacrifice of personal comfort is a gracious courtesy you can pay others.
Do you believe that time waits for no man? We may wait, for time to come but time doesn’t wait for us and certainly not for the sluggards.
