What Christmas Means To Me

Hmm, time flies so fast, and it’s already December! I can feel the Christmas breeze already. I thank God for the blessings I am receiving the year round!
But wait?! why do I have this feeling of enlightenment at the time of Christmas? Do you have feel it too?! Okay, now I’ll share what really Christmas means to me.

Christmas! The very word brings joy to my heart. No matter how I may dread the rush, the long Christmas lists for gifts  to be bought and given-when Christmas Day comes there is still the same warm feeling I had as being young, the same warmth that enfolds my heart and my home.Christmas is a state of mind. For me, the real spirit of Christmas is to  cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy and what’s best of all,Christmas means a spirit of love. It’s love in action. It’s a time when the love of God and the love of our fellow men should prevail over all hatred and bitterness. It’s also a time when our thoughts and deeds and the spirit of our lives manifest the presence of God.This is Christmas and not those decorations hang around our house inside and outside, not the giving and receiving, not even the carols, but the humble heart that receives anew, the wondrous gift,  and that is Christ. Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer, but always it will be a day of remembrance–a day in which I think of everything I have ever loved.

Let us remember that the Christmas heart is a giving heart, a wide open heart that thinks of others first. The birth of the baby Jesus, our God, stands as the most significant event in all history, because it has meant the pouring into a sick world the healing medicine of love which has transformed all manner of hearts for almost two thousand years.
So as, what  Christmas means to me,is about remembering to be giving, caring and loving. It’s a reminder that the only thing that really matter is what I do, It’s because I care, and grant others the same respect, that what they do is because they care.
That is the true spirit of Christmas that I can all get behind whatever religious beliefs are.

May our Savior enfold us with His love and fill our hearts with gladness and blessings.Advance Merry Christmas!
