God’s Existence, Nature, and Revelation

There’s a God who created, support , and governs everything; therefore He has the right to decide what should or should not be done and to hold all creatures responsible for their actions.

God is perfect in intelligence, wisdom, and love, therefore He wants the best or all of His creation. God gives rules to ensure the best existence of all. He promises benefits for obeying them and warns of the consequences of disobedience. There’s both security and comfort in trusting and obeying such God.

The evil and suffering in our world seem to disprove the existence of good a God ,but He reveals that suffering is caused by a rebellious being (Satan) intent on deceiving and destroying. He presents the gift of His own Son as the best evidence of His attitude-, “God so loved the world that He gave the world His one and only Son” (John 3:16).

God Himself has revealed the truth about Himself, about our true condition, and about His purposes. That revelation is recorded in the Bible and can be understood by the humble, sincere reader.

The large variety of propositions and philosophies about God and about humanity demonstrates our inability to discover the  discover the truth about God ourselves. But the changed lives of those who sincerely and honestly read the Bible (not to quibble but learn), believe and follow the information ot contains, prove that it is indeed accurate and practical.

I suggest that if you want to know more about God, it’s better for you to read the Bible, attend Holy masses, so that you can truly comprehend and apply what you have learned from it all.
